    Quarter Finals - IBAYS Suzuki Cup

    It was an exiting weekend at Babukhan arena with the weather holding and the IBAYS Suzuki Cup Quarter Finals concluding with 4 very exciting games



    Quarter Final 1
    Qualcomm vs Convergys
    Qualcomm had been unbeaten throughout the tournament and demolished most of their opponents. In the Quarters, Convergys put up a great fight almost winning it, in the end fell short by just 6 runs. Chaitanya V was the man of the match with his 78 off 60 balls

    Quarter Final 2
    HSBC GLT vs Autoselect Blazers
    HSBC GLT is the only team in the tournament that has scored 200+ on 3 different occasions. HSBC GLT scored 204 batting first and Autoselect put up a strong chase led by Ashfaq who scored 61 off just 38 balls but could not see the match through. In the end  HSBC GLT won by 24 runs. Ajit was the man of the match and Sunilkumar and Vikram also scored 50s for HSBC GLT.

    Quarterfinal 3
    R&I vs Zonah
    R&I Managed to restrict Zonah to 128 and reached the total with one over to spare. Omkar Avhad was given the man of the match award for his 50 and 2 wickets. Hasan's fighting 50 was not enough to get Zonah the victory today. 

    Quarterfinal 4 
    HCCL vs SQ Consulting
    HCCL finished he league stages on top of group B and SQ finished at 4th position in group A. The Odds were heavily in favor of HCCL. But SQ had other plans, they dismissed the top place team for just 124 in the 18th over and were in a very strong position to knock HCCL out. Shylesh and Chris got the team to a good start and it took brilliant performances by the HCCL bowling team to win the match by just 8 runs in the end. Ali Khan was judged man of the match for his brilliant bowling.
