Lets try to run a few comparisons between HCCL & Zonah before the Final
Apart from their loss against Worldview HCCL has performed pretty well in the league stages winning 4 out of their 5 games and finished second in their group. Zonah struggled for the most part winning only 2 out of their 5 league games and finished 4th.
Although in the quarterfinal Zonah pulled off a big upset against TASL in a game where they were also penalized 3 overs for coming late. That win when they had their backs to the wall has given them the boost and the confidence they needed and sailing on that victory they pulled of a huge win against the very tough team of Hyderabad House.
HCCL pulled off some close wins against Phoenix and Pete Transformers to secure a place in the finals. Their batting has been carried by Omkar Avhad and Imad Farooqui so far and although Qutub Alam Khan, who was the man of the series last tournament, has not been able to hit the ball like his usual self he has still managed to score 125 runs which is just 29 short of Atif who is the leading run scorer for Zonah.
In the bowling department HCCL has 4 bowlers in the top 10 and Zonah does not have any. Although the latest sensation in Zohnah's bowling has been Ammaar Ayub who has taken 7 wickets in just the 6 overs he bowled!!!
So which way will this go??
