Zonah beat HCCL in the Final to win the Zinda Tilismath cup
HCCL won the toss and elected to bat, they would have been aiming for something around 150 based on the wicket but some very tight bowling by Zonah meant that HCCL only managed to get 114. Bilal Azam top scored with 47(50) which included 7 boundaries but unfortunately none of the other batsmen were able to get their eye in. Faiz was the pick of the bowlers ending his spell with 4 overs 17/2.
In their chase Zonah lost the wicket of Akshay in the second over and with the score at 3 overs 4/1 it looked like the game was still on. Abdul Wahaid came in at this point and hit 3 boundaries in an over to ease the pressure. Mohammed Akram was the pick of the bowlers with his spell of 4 overs 1 maiden 5/2. Meanwhile the other opener Atif Hyder held the innings together and finished unbeaten with 50(50) including 5 boundaries.
Useful knocks from Hasan and Shane at the end meant that Zonah chased the score down in just 17.3 overs and became the winners of the Zinda Tilismath Cup!!!
