Round 2 started off with an explosive batting display from Tigers CC. They managed to score 226 runs with 10 sixes and 26 fours making this the highest total of the tournament so far. Shadaan Osmani became the second bowler in the tournament to take 6 wickets in a match after Pegasystems' Bhargav did it in round 1.
There were also some other very close games in round 2 as Zonah beat Rebellion Shield by just 3 runs and 1E-HLX-NMC beat Shivashakti Cricket stars by just 1 wicket.
Jain Marble house was penalized 3 overs for coming late and that might have just cost them the game against Deccan Stallions.
We request all the teams to please try and come on time, the time related penalties are necessary so that the games can start and finish on time. Teams could be given a 10 min buffer for the first time on the discretion of the umpires but after that the penalties will be enforced to ensure smooth running of all games.
